The Start of Something New
The Start of Something New
Launching in 2025! Micah Tree Books, LTD is a publishing company dedicated to fostering the unique connection people have with printed books, and each other! At the dawn of the next technological age, we are compelled to focus on the value of real world human interaction. The simple act of reading a physical book is a unique adventure in imagination and connection.
Although Micah Tree Books is not strictly a children’s book publisher, we will be launching the children’s division first. Our inaugural title is “Burnham McGee & The Honey Tree” by author and Micah Tree Books owner, Steve Hackbarth and Illustrator Rick Nass. The release date is January 6th.

We are just getting started! Check below for updates.
A direct link for purchasing ‘Burnham McGee & The Honey Tree’ will be made available on January 6th, 2025. Buying direct from Micah Tree Books will be the best way to support the mission of the organizaton. Although Micah Tree Books titles will be available through major distibutors worldwide such as Barnes & Noble, Amazon, & others, the wholesale requirements for selling through those outlets mean that an author literally (pun intended ) makes just pennies on each book they sell.
You will be able to sign up for the monthly Micah Tree Books newsletter to keep up to speed on what is happening behind the scenes at Micah Tree and get exclusive content such as short stories, book reviews, podcast reviews, or resource materials suggestions on a variety of topics.
12/10/25: Work is continuing behind the scenes to get the website ready for launch. We are hoping to have everything up and running on January 1st. What we have accomplished so far: MailChimp Account set up for newsletter, Google Analytics account set up for understanding web traffic, and about a half dozen or so key plugins for WordPress to make the site run smoothly.
There is a QR code in the front of the book that links to a dedicated parents guide page for that book. There have been a half dozen or so themes identified as valid areas for creating support material for parents. That support material will be structured as a basic guide to facilitate discussions with children about those themes and the impact they have on them and also on the people around them.
